Hope Homes provides supportive living for recovery. Our philosophy is simple: Chances for long-term recovery increase dramatically in an established community.
MISSION STATEMENT: Hope Homes, Inc. offers locations in Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC and Greenville, SC. We are a long term residential program created to bridge the gap from early recovery to independent living. Our aim is to bring lasting recovery to a wide demographic range of individuals in a residential, community setting. We strive to provide the highest caliber of rehabilitative service to the newly recovering adult man or woman by providing:
• Safe residences in comfortable home setting
• Professional staff to provide holistic life skill development and support
• An environment where collaborative community networking is emphasized
We realize each individual is unique—with specific addictions or lifestyle situations. Also, each person is in a definite stage of his/her life. Therefore, we have designed our program around that premise, calling these specialized Recovery Tracks. It is a unique concept and has proven to be most beneficial for long-term recovery.
PROGRAMS at Hope Homes Recovery Residences:
Primary (ages 26-54)
Our Primary Track is designed for men and women recovering from addiction, eating and/or emotional disorders. Emphasis is placed on combining recovery routines to daily life: employment, family and, ultimately, independent living.
Young Adult (ages 18-25)
Our Young Adult Track is designed to help the young adult establish balance and an age-appropriate quality of life. This program provides the client with the structure, guidance and support to establish a successful recovery routine.
Older Adult (ages 55+)
Our program is based on the understanding that older adults have different life issues than their younger counterparts. Health issues, generational values and interests are significant.
Eating Disorder
Our eating disorder residents attend a weekly support group to address the underlying issues of eating disorders: body image, low self-esteem or body dysmorphia. Clients are expected to have weekly contact with a dietician and therapist. Assistance with meal planning and grocery shopping is provided.
Professional
The Professional Track is available for those who have involvement and support of a state licensing agency—i.e. medical, legal, etc. Assistance has been provided to many professionals over the years through communication and collaboration with licensing boards and advocates.
Gay, Lesbian & Bisexual
A support group is offered each week to address the needs of gay, lesbian or bisexual clients. Special attention is given for the special needs of this population.
Enhanced Programming: Hope Homes Collegiate
Our Collegiate program provides enhanced structure and support in a residential recovery community for college students in early sobriety. The program is based upon the Peer-Based Community Model, grounded in the 12-Step process.
