Overview of Programs
Detoxification
This program provides medical supervision during the process of withdrawal from alcohol and other drugs in a close, intimate setting. Clients receive daily access to the Medical Director
and 24-hour nursing care. In addition, clients participate in individual and group counseling designed to facilitate their transition into the next level of care.
Residential Treatment Programs
Our residential programs offer the most intensive level of recovery services for clients who are unable to stop alcohol or drug use without 24-hour support. Specifically designed with the needs of traditional and young adults in mind, two unique Residential Programs are offered at Dove Tree: Traditional Recovery Program and Collegiate Recovery Program.
The Traditional Program offers traditional adults residential treatment services that offer recovery support in addition to support to reintegrate into their occupational roles, family roles, such as a parent, spouse, and grandparent. An average length of stay is 30 days. The Collegiate Program offers young adults residential treatment services that are tailored specifically to their developmental needs. An average length of stay is 45 days.
Partial Care Program
This program is offered to individuals who do not require 24-hour support to prevent relapse, but need substantial daily support to maintain recovery. Participants in this program receive an average of 25 hours of recovery programming per week.
Intensive Outpatient (IOP)
This level of care is well suited for individuals who need treatment for their alcohol or drug addiction, but have a safe and supportive living environment and function well at work or school. IOP can also be used to support an individual’s recovery upon completion from residential or partial care treatment. IOP clients participate in a minimum of 15 hours of recovery programming per week.
Transitional Living
Dove Tree’s transitional living program, Tree House, offers therapeutic support in the transition from a treatment facility to everyday life, providing an environment conducive to long-term recovery. This all-male sober living house, located in the Cultural District of Lubbock, is walking distance to Texas Tech University.
