Community Forum
The Community Forum feature of the MemberClicks platform enables interested members to discuss issues of importance. A member will raise an issue for discussion by submitting an email to matn.info@yahoo.com. David Edwards will send only the initial email through the listserv. Members may respond by either clicking REPLY or by visiting the Community Forum on the main MATN website (see instructions below).
An unlimited number of categories & forums may be created in the Community Forum on the MemberClicks platform that will remain archived indefinitely. The Community Forum functions to: 1) eliminate the need for repetitive posts by maintaining an archive of questions and responses; 2) reduce the volume of emails that are being sent through the listserv; and 3) enable members to selectively view and respond to posts in which they are interested.
To access the Community Forum, please sign in with username (the email address at which you receive MATN listserv emails) and password (please contact David Edwards at 404-444-9180 or matn.info@yahoo.com or if you do not know your password) in at http://www.matn.org/login. The Community Forum is under the MATN tab (drop-down menu) at the far left of the main burgundy navigation bar.
The menu options in the Community Forum include Board Index (a list of the various categories), Latest Posts (a list of the most recent entries), Forum Profile (fill in information about yourself, including a signature that appears at to the left of any message you post), My Posts (a list of messages that you have generated), and Pending Posts (lists messages awaiting moderation... this is only accessible to the Moderator).
